Faculty Research Forum Series

The Faculty Research Forum is an ongoing effort to increase South Carolina State University faculty involvement in transportation basic and applied research through the James E. Clyburn University Transportation Center (JECUTC). These forums will be held every second Tuesday of the month (September through May) in the JECUTC training room.

The forum focused on research opportunities with the JECUTC, Grant Management, and research-mentoring program. The forum also included transportation research opportunities with federal, state, local, and private industries that are engaged in transportation research activities. These Forums facilitated networking and sharing of research results and needs in order to improve both the mentoring program and the research selection process.

Each session focused on a major topic as it relates to grants management, proposal writing, research results and research presentations.
