James E. Clyburn Transportation Fellowship
($7,800 per annum)Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Be a U. S. Citizen
- Be fully admitted to the Graduate School
- Be accepted into the Master of Science Degree in Transportation program
- Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.50 or better
- Be enrolled as a full-time graduate student taking a minimum of nine (9) credits per semester
- Hold the baccalaureate degree in a transportation-related field from an accredited college or university or (9) semester credits in courses on the graduate level in a transportation-related field
- Submit a statement consisting of 500 words or less of his interest in a career in transportation
- Submit two letters of recommendation from individuals who have a thorough knowledge of your academic capabilities, interests, and goals
Criteria for Annual Renewal/Continuation of Award
- Maintain an accumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher for all graduate work
- Matriculation in the Master of Science in Transportation degree program must be during consecutive semesters until completion of the degree requirements.
- Maintain full-time status
