National Disaster, Coastal Infrastructure and Emergency Management Fellowship (NDCIEM)

($7,800 per annum)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Be a U. S. Citizen
  • Be fully admitted to the Graduate School
  • Be accepted into the Master of Science degree in Transportation program
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student with nine (9) credit hours
  • Hold the baccalaureate degree in a transportation-related field
  • Have an undergraduate GPA of 2.85 or better
  • Submit a statement consisting of 500 words or less of his interest in a career in transportation
  • Submit two letters of recommendation from individuals who have a thorough knowledge of your academic capabilities, interests, and goals

Criteria for Annual Renewal/Continuation of Award
Each recipient must meet the following minimum criteria for annual renewal or continuation of the fellowship:

  • Maintain an accumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for all graduate work
  • Matriculation in the Master of Science in Transportation degree program must be during consecutive semesters until completion of the degree requirements.
  • Maintain full-time status
